Resize video online

Every platform wants a different shape, and posting a landscape video to a vertical feed wastes most of the screen. Pick the platform, choose how the frame should be filled, and get a video that fits properly.

Works with public and direct video links.

How to use it

  1. Paste a link or upload your video.
  2. Choose Resize.
  3. Pick a preset — TikTok, Reel, Shorts, square or landscape.
  4. Choose fit, crop, fill or blurred background.
  5. Press Resize and download.

Features

Four ways to fill the frame

Fit adds bars and keeps everything. Crop fills the frame and loses the edges. Fill stretches. Blurred background fills the space with a soft copy of the video — the option most social editors use.

Built for phones

Large touch targets, a timeline you can actually drag with a thumb, and a sticky action button. Works in Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android without an app.

Private by default

No sign-up, no tracking of what you process, and automatic deletion. Your links are never sent to analytics and your files are never made public.

No full download needed

When the source supports it, we fetch only the part of the file we actually need. A 40-second clip from a two-hour video transfers roughly 40 seconds of data, not two hours.

How it works technically

Vertical platforms use 1080 × 1920 (9:16), square posts 1080 × 1080, and landscape 1920 × 1080. Resizing means re-encoding, since the pixels genuinely change — we scale with Lanczos for sharp results and keep the output at an even width so H.264 accepts it.

Frequently asked questions

Which option should I use for a landscape video on TikTok?

Blurred background, almost always. Crop throws away the sides of a wide shot, and plain black bars look unfinished next to native vertical content.

What happens to my file after processing?

It is deleted automatically. Your result is stored in a temporary folder for a short window so you can download it, then removed permanently along with any intermediate files. We do not publish, index, share or keep your media, and we never use it to train AI models.

Do I need to install any software?

No. Everything runs in your browser and on our servers, so it works the same on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iPhone. There is no app to install and no account to create.

Can I process any video I find online?

Only content you own or are otherwise permitted to process. The service works with publicly accessible links and does not bypass DRM, paywalls, sign-in or any other access control. You are responsible for having the rights to the material you submit.
